My family and I are from New Orleans and we are in Augusta visiting family celebrating my 34 year anniversary! This place was recommended by my sister who loves it and this was my first time visiting! Words can’t describe the experience, a scale of 10 is not enough to describe this place! A 100 out of 10 is how I would rate this place! The food, service and atmosphere were amazing! I spoke to the manager Ebony to express my gratitude for how professional her staff was and recommended a pay raise! I totally recommend me this place and when I return back to Augusta I will be visiting!

It's been a while since we've been back to California Dreaming. My wife and I went along with our son, daughter, daughter-in-law and 3yo grandson. The restaurant and food were great. But the biggest impression -- the reason we'll continue to come back, and more frequently -- is because of Ariana Warner. She made our evening fantastic with her warm charm, professionalism and knowledge, and attention to detail and comfort. It's rare to find such Five-Star/Five-Diamond wait-staff in a family restaurant. Adriana proved that perspective wrong. And my grandson gave her a big smile and goodbye when we left...he too thought she was wonderful. Kudos to you guys for hiring Ariana...and for a great atmosphere, clean establishment, and delicious food. We'll see ya'll again soon!

Ordered the shrimp tacos and wow was I impressed! Very messy but so delicious. 4 fried shrimp in each taco. Plenty of food. Fries were also delicious. Highly recommend and would get again.

Where do I start? This place was magical and dreamy for realz! We went during the week so not very busy, and ate dinner there for 2 people. The food came out fast and was amazing!!! The salad was HUGE and piled high! The lettuce crispy and all the toppings were so wonderful (no bacon bits actual bacon 🥓), I had the Knob Hill Chicken and it's definitely a vibe! It was baked chicken with ham and melted cheese and a loaded baked potato! Yummy!!!!!! I would have never put that combo together but it works! The wings were nice and crunchy and again the salad was delicious 🤤! The only thing I didn't like was they use onions in their ranch and my husband has a sensitivity to them, but I don't, so not taking any points off for that Lol. However, it would be nice to have an option without. As you can see the desserts were amazing. The brownie has a whole Hershey bar melted gloriously on top served with ice cream, and I had a strawberry cheesecake. It was such a huge slice but I fought through it and ate the whole thing lol! Please look at the pics and judge for yourselves. Definitely will go back next time we are in Augusta! Please keep your standards up Cali Dreaming! Your my new favorite p

Traveling through Augusta was a joy, remembered California Dreaming from 1997-98 when the restaurant was new. We had the best receptionist at the front door to the best waitress Joy, making our experience top notch. The famous croissants, pork chops & Shrimp Alfredo was great. We will be back!
